A story of a young girl who is diagnosed with cancer must battle with the desire for a fairytale romance, pressure from her friends and family and the doubt that maybe the life she wants is just out of reach.
"I wrote the story of Gemma with a very clear person in mind, someone unafraid in the face of death, yet deeply committed to living fully in the time they have. The character is shaped by that contrast, carrying a quiet strength and clarity that drives the narrative forward, focusing less on fear and more on presence, choice, and what it means to truly live. The story itself remains restrained and intimate, centred on close friendships and the everyday rhythms of a simple life."
