SHORTS FROM MY TRIP
The videos have a quiet, cinematic feel that focuses on atmosphere and reflection rather than narrative. Natural light and expansive landscapes are used to create soft, moody visuals with a muted, earthy colour palette and subtle contrast. Shots are slow and considered, often lingering to emphasise space and isolation, with any human presence feeling small within the environment. The pacing is calm and immersive, capturing not just the location but the feeling of being there.

"A planned camping trip in preparation for my journey through Kyrgyzstan became the foggy backdrop to test shots and lighting in a very mysterious and moody setting. The soft lights and thick fog made for a very interesting feel with surprisingly high contrast. Exploring this affect was extremely useful in managing shots in unexpected weather but also looking for something like this to use in films in the future."
